My role as technical specialist involves working with customer complaints and quality issues ; Using surface inspection systems to identify quality defects and dealing with customers when they complain about those quality defects, investigating and resolving the issue

I have enjoyed meting new people, working in a new environment and working alongside studies
Quite organised. There was a formal structure when starting to undertake a induction and set plan within the workplace - 3 month rotation in each department
My employer is very supportive ; line manager and his boss support and give me time for my studies
I have a monthly review with my NVQ assesor, am able to contact lecturers for both uni and college on a daily via email and when on campus
I think my HNC / Degree covers lots of topics which are relevant to my role especially those in problem solving and root cause analysis as this is what i cover daily when investigating customer complaints
Pre-covid yes there are groups and social events, sport events, charity events arranged in the workplace
Yes
They are are a local, well paying company with good amenities and apprenticeship/graduate programs for young starters providing them with work and qualifications at once
Top be confident and open minded to the plant and mainly enjoy and take everything that you can get
