  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day-to-day includes supporting other members of the team in Sales Opportunities, prospecting accounts and offering support where needed. I am learning how to use the internal tools and actively getting involved in campaigning for accounts. I get support from the management team and have aligned buddies/coaches/mentors which means I am always given the support and advice that I need.

  • I've learnt many new skills, including presentation skills, excel skills and i've learnt more about how to work with different people across different industries. This could be customers and suppliers but also internal teams, to understand how to manage key stakeholders and this has helped to increase my confidence and my customer service skills. I've learnt how to use CRM systems and different internal systems to build quotes and manage large projects.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification has helped me in my role by helping ensure I understand the technical aspects behind what I am selling. This has been helpful on a day-to-day basis as I need to have underlying knowledge of the products I am selling, especially as a Sales Specialist which I hope to become.
