  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My day to day role at first was observing people in my team and just learning about what it is they do and the different terminology. Now my day to day role is that I have my own tasks that I have to complete which involves systems such as Bloomberg and Factset.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed skills such as confidence and communication which can be happened through speaking in team meetings and giving my input. Problem solving is one of the new skills I developed as I've had to identify problems and the work on them but also doing this as a team has been really helpful. Another new skill is learning different systems that I know use on a day to day basis and advancing my knowledge on excel.

  • What I am learning in my qualification does help me on a day to day basic to understand the wider picture of what I am doing and I have definitely used what I have been leaning and have seen how it affects my role and what I am doing.
