  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role was split across two placements. One was in the Delegated Authorities team at Lloyd's for 5 months, whilst the other was at an Insurance company called Allied World where I acted as an Underwriting Assistant in the Healthcare team. No two days were the same and I was also able to gain work experience in other teams such as claims, exposure management and underwriting management.

  • The programme is well structured, however due to Covid-19 there were some issues along the way. On our first day we were given a time table of important dates and deadlines to complete our exams, which was very beneficial.
