  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I was part of the digital team in the East Midlands working at BBC Nottingham. This meant I was writing and filming digital videos and stories for the BBC website. I was looking through social media sites and press releases to find stories for the website.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed my programme, journalism is something that I wanted to get into since I was a teenager. It has opened my eyes to the journalism world and helped me more than what I imagined, I just think that Covid halted a lot of it but I still enjoyed my time.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is quite well organised, but it is a struggle trying to manage work and the strenuous exams at the same time. It sometimes is also frustrating that you could just be settling in at your placement for you to then have to attend college for four weeks and forget what you learnt before.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
