  • Each day varies especially as a new start. I will be at the training school, as well as college and on-site. The training is very thorough which makes me feel confident about my future.

  • I'm learning so much just now as this is a total new industry to me. Its exciting.

  • Extremely well. All the team are so caring and have made me feel so welcome.

  • I'm supported through everything I do

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • What I've learnt so far has given me a good understanding of what to expect on a day to day basis. As I've not been out on site yet, I've not been able to put what I've learned into practice so I'm excited to do that.

  • I'm honestly not sure, however, I presume so.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They're such a caring company. From day 1 I have felt valued. Especially being an apprentice, I'm just starting out in a new career and everyone is so lovely and welcoming. I feel extremely lucky to work for such a fantastic company.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to SSE?
  • Going through the interview stage, have as much knowledge as possible about the company and the role you are interviewing for. Be confident and work hard. Its worth it.
