  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • On the graduate scheme, we rotate departments every 6 months so the day-today can vary a lot. I have been in HR, Policy and Comms placements and we are given a lot of responsibility as graduates but can also ask for help when we need it. ENGIE is a big business and there are lots of things going on all the time which we can get involved with.

  • Team working skills - working with different types of people due to moving around Communication skills Presentation skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The apprenticeship had been helpful in developing skills needed in the business, but has been more limited due to Covid

  • Very well organised - Red Sky are a great provider and our Stretch Coach is always on hand to answer any questions

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Good support - as our managers know we are on a graduate scheme we are ok to take days off for training etc

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot - Red Sky are a great provider, better than others I have heard about. Our modues are run well, we are given support with our Stretch Activities and our coach is always contactable

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The apprenticeship has helped develop key skills I will need to go from being a graduate to a permanent employee, but is not very industry-focused

  • Yes - networks across the business for young people and females, volunteering for charity

  • Yes

  • Due to their purpose to combat climate change and the investment they put in staff
