  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • My salary is perfectly suitable for my costs as my sister also works at Microsoft so only pay petrol money rather than commuting via the train ect and I don't pay a huge amount of rent as I am 16 and living with my family.

  • 9. Would you recommend Microsoft to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Microsoft is the best opportunity I have been given to date. There is unlimited wealth of support is outstanding and everyone who works here wants you to succeed! The atmosphere and environment here is better than anywhere I have ever seen before, I would recommend Microsoft not only as an Apprenticeship but as a full time job also.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Microsoft?
  • My number one tip is to be yourself, if you are not true to yourself throughout the application process and you get through, you will find it harder to fit in here. You should present yourself well- This means wearing smart clothes ect. It is good to have had a job (or something similar) beforehand as you can give examples of using skills in the workplace (e.g. team building / management). I would have liked to have been told how to balance a full time job and coursework effectively whilst having free time.
