  • I work as an apprentice for Leonardo at Yeovil College. I currently go there 3 days a week and have 2 days release to study at home. However, we are in Lockdown at the moment so my study's are fully at home for the time being.

  • I have developed my skills and developed my confidence in work while at college.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Overall I do enjoy my college programme, however there is still areas which could be improved to make the programme more enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Due to the corona virus the organisation of the college has been very average, but I do respect that it cant of been easy.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Leonardo are always keen to make sure that we are ok with the college, however I still think the communication between the college and Leonardo could be improved.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The staff at the college for the majority are all eager to make sure we are all ok with the work that we are doing.

  • I am not yet working with Leonardo..

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are no activities due to the Corona Virus.

  • Yes

  • As it's a great employer to gain both confidence and qualifications.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Leonardo?
  • Gain confidence in doing hand based work before starting the apprenticeship and brush up on your maths skills.
