  • I am a apprenticeship deputy manager,I run the store on a daily basis 9 hours a day, I manage around 23 members of staff a week, I do stock handling, cash, checkouts, reports, date checking, reductions, complaints, compliments ,charity ,

  • Yes I have recently learnt how to manage my colleagues better in a more productive way, I have also learnt more about the company and what is expected

  • I love learning new things and developing myself better

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • 80% Purley because my store manager isn't very supportive with regards to completing endorsements for Me but my area manager is very supportive and gives me plenty od opportunities

  • My trainer is amazing and gives me everything I need to succeed and always checks up on me

  • I have learnt so much within the last 6months that I wouldn't of gotten anywhere else..and I am confident I will pass

  • Networking events I have now been to 2 which I have been lucky to meet some of the board members

  • Because you get great benefits and it's a family run business, the company always puts in +100% for the staff... You are so looked after at Iceland

  • Don't be afraid to ask for help, support is always available to you,. This company is all about making each colleague a better person and for developing you
