  • Analysing clearances between trains and things that could end up colliding with the trains, such as signs or entrances to tunnels. Learning how to design rails In 3d models

  • I have learned a wide range of skills from using new software I have never seen before.

  • the programme is very enjoyable as there is a lot to learn, which makes it challenging. There is always knowledge to be gained as each project is unique to itself.

  • The programme is very well structured and precise, and if there is any misunderstandings this is cleared through excess information that we are given, so there is never a time where we don't know what to do.

  • I receive support from my employer on a daily basis. If I am struggling I can always ask for help and my team help me as much as they can when possible.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There is a lot of support that I receive when working towards my qualification as I am allowed to spend 20% of the week working on my course which is flexible and helpful to me.

  • The qualification helps me to understand the process behind the work I am doing which makes the processes easier to grasp.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are a lot of extra curricular activities that happen but because of the current pandemic I have not yet been able explore these activities.

  • Yes

  • The opportunity to work for a big company is huge as Amey will invest in you in order for you to become a more experienced employee. I feel like I am in a secure position and the only way is up.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Amey Consulting?
  • tips that I would give to others is to just be yourself, and to know that working and studying at the same time can be challenging at times, but its an amazing experience. Think outside the box when answering questions as Amey the idea of being innovative.
