  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My time on the apprenticeship can be split into two parts firstly with my original course supervisor who exhibited little interest or desire to share or expand the knowledge base I had and was happy to accept work which was not up to standard, then the course supervisor who finished the course with me took over and the difference in standard was exponential, she not only encouraged me to submit better work but also improved my knowledge within a care setting.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • As with the last question the first half of the course I struggled to engaged due to having little to no engagement back however once the new course tutor took over i enjoyed the programme much more, however I was left with somewhat of an uphill battle due to the neglect from the previous tutor which was overcome with much hard work by myself but with much encouragement and guidance from the tutor who took over.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure to the programme was never in doubt at any point only the delivery, which was much changed under a much improved and enthusiastic tutorship, where all deadlines and expediencies where clearly laid out and expected to be met, all meetings where set in advance and times and meetings where kept unless good notice was given that it could not be. all aspects of the course and structure where clearly laid out to me once the right person to deliver the course was on the case.
