    • Individuals from the many different parts of Mace spoke to us about their journey in the industry and the role they play at Mace. There was a virtual site visit (due to covid). Some spoke to us about the values and direction of the company.

  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

    • Commercial awareness. Learned a lot about the company and the jobs in construction.

    • Loved it. Was very interesting, and the sessions were interactive.

  • 4. How well organised was your work experience?

    • Very well organised. First time the insight week was held online (due to covid) but it was great. No tech mishaps, everything ran more or less on time and there were good amount of breaks.

  • 5. How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

    • A lot. Seems like a young lively company, with many options to be flexible and work in a variety of roles.

    • Because of the insight week, i now have focus my career path onto a few job roles.

    • no. did not need to be, as it was online. But i know they did reimburse people for travel when it was in person

  • 8. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

    • Yes. every day we'd meet several employees, and have networking sessions at the end to ask them questions and so on. They were all very friendly.

    • Yes

    • Seems like a great place to work, and has great graduate opportunities

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mace?

    • You don't need to know everything about the industry when applying to the insight week, just be curious about the construction industry and do research on the company before the interview.
