  • On a day to day basis I complete tax returns, check and amend tax codes, speak to HMRC over the phone and also complete general admin tasks such as archiving, priniting, making drinks and scanning

  • Some new skills I have learnt is how to use software such as CCH (tax software), writing formal emails and letters to clients, scanning etc

  • I really enjoy my programme

  • I sometimes find Lincoln College to be a bit unorganised but majority of the time it is perfectly fine

  • I am not afraid to ask for help when necessary and I am aware of the appropriate places to get my help from

  • When I need help and ask for it, I can get it easily and as much as I would like

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification is in Accounts whereas my work is in Tax so they are difficult but occasionally at work I do accounts and I can see and apply my knowledge of accounts from AAT to work in this case

  • We have a quiz via Zoom every Friday during lockdown/working from home in Covid-19 circumstances. There are also fun competitions occasionally

  • Yes

  • It is a good company to work for as it is big and lots of people of different skills to help
