Leadership and Management Skills
I have studied 6 out of 9 modules. I find some more challenging than others but they are all very interesting and the support I get from Newark/Lincoln college is great.
Minimal contact time, but full support when required. This is more about self learning after an introductory sessions with the ILM tutor on each module.
I have a very busy role at NSK, the support has been great from NSK and my Management team. However, it is still difficult to find time to fit in the study and the work in relation to the course.
As much support as I require, I only have to ask. As mentioned there is minimal contact/lecture time. The ILM Lvl 5 is more about self study and submitting papers based on learnings and practical experience in the workplace.
I have learned various different skills from Management communication, Managing and Implementing Change to Developing people in the workplace and Making Financial cases. Some parts were already in my day to day job, the course has helped me with additional tools to assist me improve my day to day Management and Leadership.
