  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • As Accenture is consultancy based my day to day jobs changed based upon the role I am on. Currently it consists of working with Control M to help clients transform using job automation.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, learnt how to program from having 0 prior knowledge. Can now create applications and websites and have learnt many industry skills like teamwork and management.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I extremely enjoyed the apprenticeship. Both Accenture and UEL have been very supportive throughout the whole apprenticeship.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • At times it is somewhat unstructured. Apprentices have been left with incorrect contracts that take months to correct and sometimes the communication between UEL and Accenture seemed to be slacking.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support has been given by my employer. Especially when my Dad passed away, they was very supportive and gave me the time I needed to grief.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of the staff and teachers at UEL are great, they are very supportive and have the students best interest at heart. On the other hand, some are very hard to contact and some seem to not care much about the apprentices.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Personally, my current role has nothing to do with my qualification. But in general, I can see this qualification helping with future development roles and jobs.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Many, there is many groups for all different types of activities and people.

  • Yes

  • Because they are a supportive and good company that generally has you best interest and growth at heart.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • Read the case studies and be prepared for the intereviews. If you need notes during an interview dont feel shy to bring them in to help jog your memory.
