  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • During my first year of apprenticeship, I have learned new amazing technical skills, such as Rhino 6. I also had the chance to learn new skills from the other student such as design presentation, photoshop tools, templates which allowed me to succeed through my first year.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I would say that the apprenticeship in architecture, help my design and creativity side into my daily job. I would not say that the Y4 helped me in my daily leadership, building regulation or clients/consultant relationship. But this is a learning process and the starting point was creativity before getting deeper into more technical detail element of the architectural apprenticeship.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Until Covid 19 lockdown, as a company we have a fast range of extra activities such as film club, softball team matches, staff parties, Friday catch up drinks, book clubs, film clubs. I would not join all of them but I would participate as much as I could when no other engagement was in the calendar. Outside work, I would have a normal activity life, dedicating only uni only 1 day over the weekend.
