  • First Line Manager, support manager to 26 direct reports. I support computer repair technicians with their roles. I promote performance, support with general HR issues and health and safety.

  • Communication skills, remote management skills, project management tools, stakeholder analysis, leadership and management tools.

  • I enjoy learning new tools that I can use in my role. it gives me confidence in my role and is helping me progress.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • First it wasn't not very structured, it appeared that I had manage my own assessor but with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] as my new assessor, his skills were excellent, very supportive and knowledgeable.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive plenty of support from my employer, they allow me ample time to study for the course.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Lots of support provided by my assessor, he is on hand any time and very flexible working around our busiest periods of work.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It helps me in my role because the training received is relevant to my position. Every chapter of the course has been related to something I am doing or have done in the past.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No not really. We have some social activities a couple of times a year.

  • Yes

  • I have been with the business 9 years, they have given great support and training including the ILM and Apprenticeship. They are very supportive, great benefits and leader in technology.

  • To help everyone enjoy amazing technology. If you have this idea in mind, support the customer, support other departments and work as one.
