1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I have started working in july 2018 as a UI developer in Barclays. It was a great experience while working in team with teammates. I have enjoyed every bit of my work in last 2 years. The career coach was always there for us to help us in our difficulties. Also the teammates and the manager were so helpful during my learning phase. It was a great experience and i enjoyed it a lot.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have worked on UI part of the projects. It was really new for me, but the Plural sight training was too helpful to up skill me. Also the senior developers from the team plays important role in my development phase.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed every part of my work. The objectives given to us during this program were so interesting. We have worked in team(with other apprenticeship buddies) to fulfill these objectives. It was really great working in team as well.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program was so well structured as the 1-2-1 meetings were there with our coach to discuss our problems. We have timely completed our objectives because of well organisation of program.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

The employers were so supportive all the time. I didn't find any difficulty while working with other employers as they were so supportive in my work activities.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider were always there when we were in difficulties.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The trainer provider always asks us for our day to day work activities. They have provided us different type of work and given the suggestion where it was needed.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are so many activities held at our work. The social activities we enjoyed a lot and was really worthful.

Yes

The culture of Barclays is very nice. It is really great working with Barclays. I am proud to be a part of Barclays.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?

They should definitely apply for Barclays as the culture is very good. The working experience of mine will always recommend others to become a part of Barclays. It is very important to grow and up skills our technologies and Barclays helps us in doing that.
