  • I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship so far as it suits my learning style more as i learn better doing my own learning. I complete all my work through OneFile and i have really enjoyed completing all of the tasks because your allowed to get creative with all of your work for example one of my tasks was to write advantages and disadvantages of using an electronic and paper diary system and i decided to create a book background and write the advantages and disadvantages on the pages on the diary

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like my qualification has helped me so much throughout my apprenticeship as i have learned so much from my tasks that i have been set and then i have been able to put them into my job role for example at the start of my qualification i did a task about producing minutes and the whole process of taking minutes and this helped me so much because i had never produced minutes before but after compleating the task i then felt confident to take minutes from the student council meetings.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • i would recommend Lincoln College to a friend because its a really friendly place to work and there is always someone in your department or another department to help you out with something. There are always so many fun activities to get involved with for example i helped out around christmas to provide students with a free festive turkey and stuffing roll and a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows to celebrate christmas and to celebrate the end of term.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The Lincoln College Group?
  • The tips and advice i would give to others applying to this company are just be yourself and know that you are potentially going to be working at a really friendly company, when i first started my apprenticeship i got invited to a dinner at the college with other new members of staff as a welcome to the company and it was a opportunity to socialise and to let some students show off there cooking skills to us all.
