1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am an apprentice laptop repair techician at Team Knowhow. My day to day activities include repairing laptops with the faults they come in for.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to communicate with customers over the phone, how to manage my time more effectively, how to make notes, and how to repair faults with laptops. I am still learning new things every day

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying this apprenticeship a lot.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship is structured quite well. One day of college every 2 weeks and they have managed the best they can with the recent pandemic.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive the support that I need. If I need any help at all, I can ask the specialists for help. If I need help with college work, I can ask my tutor.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support from my tutor at Lincoln college. If I need any questions answering or am having trouble on one of the assignments, I can always ask for help

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel that the qualification I am taking helps quite a bit towards the job role. They are both electronics based and I can use some of the things I learn at college in the workplace
