1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I line manage 3 medical secretaries and provide pa and admin support to the Deputy Divisional Director - Urgent Care, Head of Nursing - Urgent Care and the Urgent Care Matron.

I have both learnt new skills and been able to develop my skills from the content that I have participated in so far in the programme.

I enjoy learning new things and developing my skills which this programme allows.

I find the programme is well organised and structured.

My employer is very supportive.

My training provider is very helpful and responsive to any queries/support I require.

I think that the qualification gives me the tools to be able to improve my leadership skills.

Not at the moment due to Covid 19.

I would recommend the Urgent Care area because they are a great team and are supportive and encouraging.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NHS?

The NHS can be very changeable so I would advise them to be aware of this and to be adaptable.
