  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the sense of community that I feel with my apprenticeship as well as the mentoring that I have available to me. I also enjoy working as part of a team, knowing that I can rely on people to help me with anything.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Originally I thought there was a strong structure to the programme, but there are several platforms that you are supposed to get information from and can lead to quite a bit of confusion. However, there is a strong support system in place, with a dedicated Banking Coach to assist you with anything you need in your apprenticeship.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer as a whole supports Apprentices very much, but sometime we can feel overlooked due to the nature of working as part of a massive company. My Manager however, always ensures that I have the time and capability to complete my work as well as keeping an eye out for my mental health.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification helps provide me with a deeper understanding of my role and my industry. Furthermore, it enables me to put the theory of what I learn in my apprenticeship into practice.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are many employee-led networks to join and many other activities/events to get involved in. There are a couple of sport teams, but they mainly tend to be inter-office teams. Most people are quite social and colleagues will often plan events/nights out with each other.
