  • Providing office support including customer and employee support. Keeping well-organised files and records of business activity. Researching company data and archived reports. Keeping computer databases up to date

  • I learnt tp communicate and with suppliers, , customers and employees. Having effective written and verbal communication skills will help you to build good working relationships. Every communication should reflect the image you are trying to project

  • I have been enjoying the programme so far it comes with a lot of challenges, but it introduces you to a new world of work and people.

  • The structure is organised very well. Tutors always check up on you to see how you're doing with work with the company and the coursework which has been set

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i received a decent amount of support from my employer. i was never left in the dark when i didn't know to solve a problem. they would make sure i was always well and gave me tasks that was within my job role.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from tutors. as of now we have come to an agreement to check up every 2 weeks to make sure that i'm up to date/on the right track

  • I feel like the training provider is good, but its not as helpful as on the job experience.

  • Yes Kier would usually send out emails or post to let you know of any upcoming events that was taking place

  • Yes

  • I would recommend a friend to kier because the people at Kier are very friendly but it is also an environment where you can learn a lot from all kinds of individuals


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Kier Group?
  • i would suggest putting hobbies and interests on an application – to demonstrate your good qualities and to show how you fit in with the company culture
