  • On a day to day base I complete work required for my NVQ in an amazing work environment, working on some of the most advanced engines in the world.

  • I have learnt plenty of new hands on skills and my confidence as a person has grown massively on the course

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I throughly love the work i do at the course. However, workload can change due to demand giving me no hands on work for awhile.

  • I currently feel the course could be improved in this area as I often feel the structure is lacking.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My relationship with my employer isn’t very close , although I am given the tools to complete my course, I don’t allows feel the support is there

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I feel I get little support from my training provider as work I complete takes months to get mark.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My course in my eyes is more than enough for the role it is designed for.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I often ask for extra opportunity at work but rarely get any, I would prefer to have more opportunities where I can network and other events.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Although it you might not get a job at the end no matter how well you perform, the course develops you as an individual and increases your confidence tremendously.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Rolls-Royce?
  • To give a very honest CV and to put the work in required for the role as you won’t regret it.
