  • During my first year I have been attending UWE university 2 days per week. For the rest of the week I am working the on apprentice workshop, working towards my PEO.

  • Absolutely loads, you learn so much from the course and get loads of hands on experience

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • A lot, you get the benefits of being at university with the full time pay. Nice company culture

  • Very well, they have had apprentices for decades

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Anything you need they will sort, computers or any hard ware is sorted within the week. Any time off needed is booked immediately

  • As much as you need. They are all very helpful

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It’s a degree so can’t do much better

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not too much on site, but you have access to everything like that at UWE

  • 9a. Would you recommend Babcock to a friend?
  • Yes

  • Because I believe that it’s the best apprenticeship
