1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The BBC Production Apprenticeship Scheme is an invaluable experience! The people that you meet are not only only your first network in this industry, but people you can call friends, the managers are supportive and the skills that you learn are invaluable. No day is the same on the Production Apprenticeship Scheme, but I have learned how to edit audio to on-air quality, have produced a radio show, and bounced between all different shows at Radio 1 and Asian Network in order to get a breadth of experiences. Responsibilities also vary day to day, however, you will not be the 'tea person', you have not been accepted on the scheme to do mundane tasks, you are a vital member of the team who just gets stuck in when people need help. If you are thinking about apply for the Production Apprenticeship Scheme....DO IT! This is the first time in my life that I am excited to go into work

Speak to people who have been on the scheme before, we are easy enough to find (Linkedin, twitter etc) and ask for help!
