  • My role involves providing care for children between the ages of 3 months to 4 years. To also help them learn as they develop, and to keep track of their development. To also make sure they are fed and changed when needed.

  • I have learnt many new skills from my apprenticeship, things that will help me become the best practitioner I can be. And currently still learning every day.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme extremely! I love being able to put the things I learn into practice in the setting and being able to learn while on the job.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is well organised, everything that I need to complete is always accessible on a app. However sometimes the app does have issues certain tasks to open but majority of the time it works perfectly.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive lots of support from my employer and all the other staff that i work with. I get lots of encouragement and consistent support throughout my work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have lots of support from my training provider. I will receive emails to ask how I’m getting on and if I need any help. I’m always reassured that I can email whenever I need any help or have any questions.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel as though the actions I complete help me massively when I’m at my setting. They help me have acknowledgement on lots of different things that I can always put into practice within my setting.

  • No.

  • Yes

  • Paragon skills have made my apprenticeship easily accessible and enjoyable which has helped me carry on throughout it.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capers Day Nursey?
  • An apprenticeship is hard work however completely worth it! Especially with paragon skills because of how they manage the programmes.
