  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed my communication skills, especially when having to talk to people everyday and deal with different types of situations, along with having to diffuse and disputes/ deal with unhappy customers, I found that I've learnt to do such things with ease as before I had no idea on how to approach such situations.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme a lot, having to talk to different types of people all day- can be mostly tiring, but overall is quite enjoyable. Just one person can change your mood like the flip of a switch, it's those kinds of people that make this job the most enjoyable. We also get a rest day to catch up with course work which is pleasant.

  • 9a. Would you recommend The AA to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is genuinely a good place and you can learn a lot from being here, a lot of things you might find you did not need before, you will need now and you will learn to improve a variety of skills which you can use not only here but other places and in your everyday life.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to The AA?
  • be yourself, be confident and have faith in yourself. It's not as scary as it seems to apply for such a big company. Like every company there are dark sides but that does not outweigh the Brightside. The AA will look after you and treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
