  • Completing this apprenticeship has increased my confidence, and made me realise my potential

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed stretching myself - also the fact I can progress at my own pace. However one thing I haven't enjoyed is within the written statements etc there are a lot of areas where the same information is asked for.

  • I feel the programme is very well structured, my talent coach is very knowledgeable and very helpful.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Lots, as they had to agree before I could sign up, I am given time each week to work on my apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again lots, if ever I have a query my coach replies within a timely manner, he is always available over the phone if needed. My questions are answered very quickly and thoroughly

  • It broadens my knowledge and makes me think about the goals I have within my role further.

  • We have team building events, recognition events, there are netball/football teams reading/walking clubs, volunteering opportunities

  • Yes

  • Very friendly colleagues, great rewards to work to, good support network, interesting work.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HSBC?
  • Go for it, take up every opportunity in learning or socialising available. Work hard and rewards are there.
