  • my role when working, is to make sure that the children are safe and that I as a practitioner is helping the children to grow as well as to meet their basic needs.

  • I have learnt a lot of new skills as well as worked on my existing skills as well- this ranges from how I look after children to safeguarding etc.

  • I really enjoyed my programme a lot as I learn new things each time that I complete my units or my assignments

  • my programme is well organised and structured- my tutor is always helpful when it comes to setting work as she will make sure that there is enough for me to compete and not too much so that I am not able to complete everything.

  • I receive a lot of support from my employer, if I ever struggle with anything I know that I am able to go and see her to help me

  • I receive a lot of support from my training provider, if I am ever stuck or I need any extra explanations with a question they will break it down, she is very supportive and very helpful if I do not know how to word my answer

  • I think that gaining my level 3 has helped me to become a better practitioner as I understand situations a lot better

  • there are a lot that we do as a team that everyone including myself is able to get involved with

  • I would recommend this company and the reason for this is because they have helped me gain my qualification as well as they have helped me get closer to my dream of being qualified.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capers Day Nursey?
  • advice that I would give is to make sure that you are ready, there will be good and bad days as well as the work that you need to put in is a lot which means that a lot of days are spent planning for you next day at work.
