Assurance Associate Review

I am working in audit which means performing audit work on a range of clients. I have been worked on large listed clients as well as smaller listed clients. The work performed is of the same requirement as that of the graduate scheme.

I have learnt loads of skills, relating to the work and technical knowledge of accounting. I have also developed soft skills in terms of business etiquette, writing efficient emails and time management.

I absolutely love going to work every day - even through Coronavirus!

10/10, I am aware of my progression the whole way through my course and have constant interaction with course leaders.

A lot. We are allocated, councilor's, buddy's and apprenticeship coach's to help with any query that we have.

Our training provider gives us plenty of opportunity to prepare and gives us all the resources that we need to succeed in our qualification.

I think that it helps massively, as it gives us greater technical knowledge to help us perform highly in the job that we have.

There are socials as well as sports teams, however they are not largely advertised, you have to be proactive in finding them.

I absolutely love going to work everyday. The work that we do is enjoyable and interesting, as well as the people. We are constantly coached and developed which puts in great stead wherever my career takes me.

Being personable and a team player is very important during the application process. They want people that can work well in teams and collaboration is key, so make sure that you highlight your ability to do that.
