  • Carrying out design, calculations, producing mark ups for technicians, CAD work

  • New skills; following BS/EC, all CAD programs, design with CAD programs such as Open Roads/Civil 3D etc

  • Enjoy every day

  • Well organised despite arup being relatively new to the degree apprenticeship program

  • a great deal of support

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • University is now training provider and helps a great deal - regular catch ups etc

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • gives me a background understanding and ability to carry out tasks I wouldnt have understood if not for my training

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • These are available , however I already participate in a number of extra-curricular activities outside of work and often don't have time
