  • I do CAD design as well as Electrical Design. My area of work is in the infrastructure sector, primarily in the water and power industry.

  • Yes, many new skills. Communication skills have improved, work ethic, CAD skills, computer skills and many engineering skills.

  • I really enjoy my programme! i wake up every day looking forward to going to work. I think im lucky with the opportunity i have managed to get.

  • Very well organised.

  • A lot of support, whenever i need it all i have to do is ask and they are always there to help.

  • A lot of support, my training provider also teach me my degree.

  • 100% helps me perform better. I learn skills at uni such as maths that help me in the workplace.

  • Lots! There are plenty of sports and social groups and there is no shortage of get togethers and office outings.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because they look after you and push you to be the best you can be. They provide opportunities i believe no where else can offer.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Arup?
  • Make sure you're interested in engineering and that you are interesting as a person. If you are social and enjoy meeting people and having fun you will definitely fit in at Arup!
