  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In audit, learning the tests of controls and procedures to provide assurance to stakeholders and management of publically listed companies. Whilst working in analytics, helping to develop frameworks to cleanse, wrangle and analyze large datasets.

  • I have learned lots of new technical skills, particularly on the analytics side.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy it, although i feel sometimes the structure is somewhat unclear.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The loose structure is there although sometimes it seems as though this is made up on the hoof a little bit as per needs of the business, which is fine, however this could be communicated more clearly.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • There is a counsellor programme in place, and my counsellor has been absolutely fantastic from both a managerial and pastoral perspective.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We are assigned a "Skills Coach" by QA, and whilst we are in lockdown workshops have continued to take place online, although these seem to be less valuable.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel overall it will massively benefit however the order in which the modules are taken compared to the structure of my work so far seems disjointed at times.

  • EY Networks and plenty of social activities.

  • Yes
