  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Managing facilities and client support team, ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are met within the scope of the whole office from facilities side, looking after health and safety aspect of the office/ building, ensuring all components of client experience are met within the high standard, dealing with contractors, suppliers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, monitor procurement and supply chain, meet requirements and exceed expectations - all through daily interactions and decision making process, towards meeting operational objectives and strategic goals of the company.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Learning new skills within facilities sector, which I can use on day to day basis. Learning and developing new knowledge, which will serve me in decision making process within my role. Developing existing skills to aid with emotional intelligence, which hugely impacts my daily interactions and management of the team and others within the office environment.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Studying whilst in full time employment is not an easy task, however, being able to put newly learnt skills and knowledge into work every single day is very rewarding, especially when hugely impacts and results in correct decisions, which greatly impact the welfare of everyone in the office as well as the environment that surrounds us. Knowing this programme supports my daily activities by elevating my confidence and knowledge, is hugely rewarding and enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Every few weeks I receive new assignments, and by keeping busy at work, I structure them over weekends, which keeps me busy and helps in becoming highly disciplined throughout this experience.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My employer's support is shown through their enthusiasm and ability to converse regarding different assignments, new tasks, as well as in a search for new aspects, opportunities to try different approach, training methods, learning different views and the encouragement to try new ideas.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider supports me by allowing for contact whenever I need to talk or just try new approach to a task, if I struggle with anything on the assignment or just wanted to check if I had taken the right approach to discover the knowledge.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Without this course I would not be able to perform my role as well as I do now. I would find it much more difficult and become frustrated with such lack of knowledge. With this course, I know that I don't know a lot of things related to facilities, however, I feel confident that I will know where to find them and how to understand different concepts to find the best solution to the problem. Therefore, this course is the absolute necessity if you are starting your role in a brand new sector.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • My employer thrives in making people engaged with extra activities, social aspects and relationships are very much welcome and treasured as these are best in relation to team building and help those emotionally challenged to overcome their shyness and feel that they a part of the team.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • DWF is a company with goals for the future. Does not look at the horizon, but beyond, does not do what other companies do and how they work, but creates unique environment for unique people to thrive in their own creative ways to do what is best for others and for the greater good. DWF looks after their people as people are the most important assets any company can have.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DWF Law LLP?
  • Be truthful, innovative, and not afraid to push yourself further, as ambition is the key. You cannot work for DWF if you don't have ambition and expect more of others than yourself. You need to go above and beyond in any situation and do your best no matter what, this way you will become part of DWF.
