  • Manage cloud environments (AWS and Azure), including governance, and scripting patterns. Automating delivery of tasks.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • has its ups and downs, due to internal restructure there was period of limited work and support. Can feel sometimes independent, rather than being taught. sometimes can become difficult when trying to meet deadlines and come to a blocker with little support

  • Sometimes i can feel like an afterthought. After restructure, it felt like i was forgotten about

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • It can be difficult to get sufficient support in terms of for work, for example getting help with a tricky piece of work. Otherwise, support from line manager in terms of well-being is fine

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I do not often contact my tutors for help, but if ever I have needed to I have received speedy responses. Handing back of assignments can sometimes be delayed. Usually given detailed feedback, and where not I contacted my Practice Tutor and they resolved the issue

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Not a great deal. What i learn and what i do in my role are quite different. However, I feel this could change from Year 3 (next year) when I take up my specialism

  • No


  • 9b. Why?
  • I do not feel the program is structured enough or they have sufficient support for additional apprentices in my area


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Unilever?
  • Ask lots of questions regarding retention rates and recent redundancies before accepting job offer. Make sure you will get sufficient support. An apprenticeship is just as much about the on-the-job as it is about the qualification you get from it.
