  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is in the sales department that means that I am in daily contact with customers that buy Unilever products that go into store, it also involves forecasting how much we are going to sell and also planning promotions for the year.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes I think I have developed my IT skills a lot since being apart of the apprenticesjip scheme, I have been able to do this by attending training sessions but also learning from my colleagues. My confidence has also improved a lot since being at Unilever.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed all of my apprenticeship programme the whole time I have been in role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think it is structured really well because we are given time outside of our Unilever role to be able to work on coursework that is part of my level 3 qualification.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I think I have had loads of support from my employer my team manager and line manager has made sure throughout that I am always up to date on my coursework but also that I have got enough work. They have also massively helped me to develop myself internally

  • Lots of support I have never felt like I don't know whats going on.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think it has helped me understand the structure of the business and also how important communication is across the whole business.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are loads of social activities that happen like team nights out which are great for getting to know my team better and we also have a sales dodge ball tournament which I take part in every week which I love!!

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it is such a dynamic place to work, no 2 days are the same and there are so many people that are willing to help you grow personally and professionally
