I am currently working in the audit sector which means I am on client site for the majority of the apprenticeship. At the client site you will work on different areas relating to financial accounts. You have the responsibility to do your own work within the deadlines.
Yes lots! When you join you may have little to no knowledge of financial accounting. KPMG will help bring you to a standard where you can work independently in a short amount of time. I have improved my time management and have become competent in many accounting areas since joining.
I enjoy the 360 programme and the variety of clients that I work on.
Well structured with exams and other training running along side the apprenticeship.
If you are struggling to meet deadlines or do not understand what work you need to complete for a certain job, you can speak to one of many different people specialised to helping you keep on track.
A good amount of support is given when working towards your qualifications.
The qualification will help boost your accounting knowledge significantly so you will be more confident in the work that you are doing.
Depending on the region, many extra-curricular activities have been set up so that you can socialise outside the workplace. If there is something you enjoy which has not been set up yet, you have the ability to create your own team/sessions.

Good Qualification, Part of the BIG 4 and a brilliant first step in anyone's career.
1) Research the Business! 2) Look at accounting as a career and not just an apprenticeship. 3) See what area of accounting you would like to specialise in (Audit, Tax, consulting etc).
