  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have just started the apprenticeship program but already am learning new skills to help in my current role. It is also refreshing my existing skill set and reminding me of tools and techniques I have not used for a while. Furthermore it is helping me to widen my internal network

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am really enjoying the program. Its nice to be able to focus on your own development. Sometimes you can overlook your development but being enrolled into a program means you are committing to completing the appropriate tasks within a given timescale so theres no putting your development at the bottom of the pile

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The program is well organised and structured. The tutors are readily accessible and the support has been fantastic. Unfourtuntley the current environment does not allow for face to face meetings but the training sessions over skype have still been engaging and informative. Therefore I believe the programme is well structured and organised

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • The support from my employer has been great. To be honest being able to complete such a program has been fantastic. Not a huge amount else is required as I manage to complete the relevant study in my own time but if required I am sure my company would be supportive of me completing this in work time

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have not required a huge amount of support. Its been more around navigation of software, clarity of what needs to be done by when etc. So more around basic set up etc. Now I know where I am with this I am happy to complete the relevant training at my own pace

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are not any extra curricular activities but I believe this is down to the current environment. I think there is future opportunity to allow the group to get to know each other better to help build a stronger network to support the group both during and after the apprentciship
