  • The role comprises of a set of rotations through different departments within Financial Crime, with each rotation lasting between 4-7 months. The departments experienced included EDD, Transaction Monitoring, Payment Screening, SARU

  • The program offers a rounded set of transferable skills such as Communicating and Influencing, Delivering Services sms Problem Solving. Additionally, it offered comprehensive knowledge of Sanctions, Legislation, Directives, AML risks, Terrorism Financing, and many other challenges that the Financial Crime Industry faces everyday.

  • The programme was very useful as it provided me with the necessary experience needed to start my career in the industry.

  • The programme was well structured and it was organised well so that the apprentices could rotate through different BAU roles

  • I had 121s available monthly/ biweekly with my manager to discuss any issues I was facing

  • Plenty. Any issues I had, I could talk about with my mentor and they would help me straight away

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification focused on skills. Therefore it helped you focus on your personal development, however it did very little from a knowledge perspective

  • Yes, there are. Christmas parties, sport activities, charity oriented activities
