  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We receive some support although i feel like the training provider are a bit blurry in terms of understanding how we get off of the apprenticeship scheme as people years ahead of us have had some difficulty contacting our training provider. Although so far they have been supportive with my exams

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel like this gives me a wider understanding of insurance especially within different sectors as we understand different roles within insurance such as legal, business etc that we wouldn't normally come across within our line of business. Also, having a qualification connotes professionalism to your employer and that you are dedicated to achievement.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are lots of exclusive networking events that people outside of insurance wouldn't usually be exposed too. We also have sports teams within the company as well as young professionals groups that bring together the younger and newer members of insurance. As a result i am always busy with extra curricular events.

  • 9a. Would you recommend WTW to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I feel like WTW has a very inclusive and diverse atmosphere, the benefits of my apprenticeship seemed almost too good to be true. The amount of support and experience we gain from this as well as achieving a job afterwards is everything that i hoped to achieve within a career.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to WTW?
  • I would say that researching not only the company but also the insurance industry will impress your interviewer. It would also help if you got some work experience within the sector and have an idea of which line of business you would like to join. As always, be your best self!
