  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I talk to delivery drivers, help with their problems and queries and sort where I can. I also have to go to them if the company has any problems, I am the middle man between company and self employed driver

  • I have learnt different ways of talking to people and helping them. I have learnt how to let people help themselves and choose the best option that they can

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I like to give the drivers good news and helping them out when necessary. I like to teach them new things and help them improve in their daily roles

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is well structured, at the moment we are taking a break as the conditions don't allow us to continue. It will be good to start up again and see where we have come since our last meeting

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have received sporadic support so far but this has only been going for a short while. It will have to gain more support when we start again as some concentration has been lost

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Brathay have been excellent and the trainer has been phenomenal in the way he has shown us support. He replies to any messages quickly and will help where needed

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I haven't completed the course yet but I believe this will help me get further in my job and allow me to respond to actions and queries with better knowledge

  • Yes, there are activities we can get involved in that the company will put on from time to time

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend because it is a company that believes in the people it employs, the company is about family and enjoyment.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AO?
  • Be yourself and show the company what you can do, if you have any problems make yourself heard and the problem will get sorted
