  • Day to day running and organisation of projects for the are of the business that i partner. This can vary but usually includes sending emails, meetings and conference calls to speak to the relevant stakeholder.

  • Yes i have learnt lots of new skills some are: Active Listening. Adaptability. Communication. Creativity. Critical Thinking. Customer Service. Decision Making. Interpersonal Communication.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme and it gives me a lot of opportunities to further my experience and skill set outside of my programme capabilities. I would and ahve recommended it to others.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme with the Open University is structured well with my tutor coming into the workplace. There is sometimes a disconnect with my workplace and the OU.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • From my team and my manager i receive a lot of support and they are very good at understanding i need my 20% off the job time to study. HR have had limited involvement and i feel they should and could be more involved.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • A lot of support, my on the job tutor comes into the office to meet me every 2 months or so.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification directly links to my role, specifically the on the job modules. I have been able to put my learning such as risk assessments into practice in my projects.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are spots teams set up for teams to play each other - this is very competitive :)! There are also a lot of opportunities to attend conferences and events to represent the office, including career shows.

  • Yes

  • Get to know the company and what we sell, policies and plans/visions we adhere to. make sure what we stand for a represent in our brands is also your belief too as this means you are passionate about the company you work for and believe in the products we sell and LOVE!
