  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I very much enjoy my programme. I have enjoyed meeting lots of people, and becoming part of a team. The company values treating everyone fairly, and I very much feel this. I feel included and valued, even though I am just an apprentice. I enjoy going to work everyday, and am proud to work for the Ombudsman.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is very well structured. The induction was very informative, and made starting here a lot less scary. We had two weeks of induction and training so I felt very prepared when I started my role. My manager is very supportive with both my work and my studying and goes above and beyond to help. We started as a big group of early careers apprentices, which has meant we built a network amongst us.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Financial Ombudsman Service to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I would recommend this company to a friend.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Financial Ombudsman Service?
  • I would ensure that people are aware of the work that the ombudsman do, and the values of the organisation as these are very important to us and shape a lot of what we do. I would also make sure, if successful, you make the most out the on boarding and induction experience as I picked up vital knowledge here. I also made a big network with the fellow apprentices which has been very useful
