  • • Monitor supplier performance according to the prescribed standard & emergency operating procedures. • The systematic measurement and governance of contract performance – Service Level and KPI compliance (metrics management). • Monitor the timely completion of deliverables and obligations. Chase where necessary to ensure fulfilment of obligations. • Operational risk management & mitigation plans. • Positively encourage and recognise innovation and propose changes which are deemed as continuous improvement. • Ensure adherence to UBS policies, procedures and regulations. • Creating dashboards on tableau

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt to work on tableau and alteryx. These are softwares used in data analysis. I also run finance meetings and attending presentation skills courses has helped me with this.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme very much. I feel that I am fully supported by my team and they do everything possible to ensure that I am successful with my apprenticeship

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured. I had classroom learning for all my exams and had monthly catch ups with my learning and development coach, both remote and face to face.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support. They ensure that I have a good work/ apprenticeship balance, allow me to spend extra time on the apprenticeship if I need it and I have 2 1-1's a week with my manager to discuss anything I need any support with.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support. I meet with my learning and development coach once a month, sometimes more if I need it. The trainers are happy to go over anything you don't understand before an exam even once the classroom session has been completed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have learnt many different skills throughout the apprenticeship and been able to apply the models that I learn about in my work to give me a better understanding and a more in depth analysis when presenting back to stakeholders.

  • I am a member of a few different societies.

  • Yes

  • They are a great organisation that fully support their staff and want their staff to do well.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to UBS?
  • The interviewer wants you to succeed so don't let your nerves get the better of you. UBS is a friendly organisation that cares about their people, so just be yourself.
