Very much its gives me a more technical understanding of my job role.

Its ok, i could do with some more support from my company as i still have not been given a mentor.

They are happy for me to have the time off for the course however i should have been given a mentor at the beginning of the course and i still dont have one.

If i ask for time off they will give it to me

Yes as mentioned above.
