  • 2. What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?
  • Development in many skills that are important to boost employability, including communication, listening, speaking, leadership, accuracy, precision, confidence, knowledge etc. We gained an extra qualification equivalent to that of a GCSE in team leadership. Our creative skills were put to the rest with numerous challenges and tasks with fellow interns that we weren’t familiar with.

  • My work experience was extremely organised, with a schedule of what tasks were going to be included at what times of the day in every day of the experience, given to us in a briefing the few days prior to the start date that informed us of everything that we were to partake in.

  • I learned a great amount on what the working environment is like at a place like Ernst and Young certainly due to the business experience week whereby we shadowed an employee of the firm to see what sort of work they do on a day to day basis including the work and client meetings

  • There were an abundance of opportunities to meet new people in the industry including partners of the firm , employees , managers , former workers , the accounting exam board and so on.
