Managing cloud infrastructure, mostly using Azure and AWS
Yes
Can vary from day to day, but overall it is enjoyable.
There is very little structure, you are put into a team with a manager and left from there. In contrast, the Open Uni work is very structured and the 4 years are laid out before the degree starts.
I have a good relationship with my manager and can get the help I need.
The Open Uni provide multiple tutors to contact if I require help with module work.
My qualification covers a lot of thing I would never do in my current role, this isn't a bad thing though.
These activities are available but I tend not to make use of them.
No
The apprenticeships need more structure and this can't just be left to apprentice managers that already have their normal job role to do.
Unilever is a relaxed company so don't be super formal, don't be the opposite though either!
