  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Give lots of tasks to carry out and always kept busy. Can always ask about work people have given me if I don't understand it or need assistance. On a daily basis I have the opportunity to interact with lots of contractors and clients, I manage to go out on site a lot and see projects I'm working on and how they are progressing. Everyday is different and I face new challenges all the time with the support of my team.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Have learnt so much since joining the team, I feel like I'm a sponge in water, always absorbing new information. It is amazing having the knowledge I have around me, its the equivalent of having ten personal lecturers, all with their own areas of expertise. Am given so much internal training, full days, lunch seminars and webinars, all supporting to advance my developing knowledge of the industry and company.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • You can tell I'm not the first person they've had taking this pathway. From the material I'm provided with, to the personal support I'm given, Savills as a company are well equipped and I feel as though they know exactly what is going on. They respect my day off for university study and I have several meetings with my line manager and team director to check up on how I'm getting on.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The material what we are starting to learn seems very relevant to the day to day job. I'm starting to see bridges between them and understand why we are learning some material. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
